Let me introduce myself...

My name is John Bailey and I’ve been fishing in Norfolk now for over fifty years. I left a teaching career some twenty-two years ago and, since then, have made my living writing about fishing, photographing fish and leading groups of anglers to scores of countries around the world on fishing tours. I’ve made many films on fishing for terrestrial and satellite channels and, for many years, have been a consultant, writer and photographer for Hardy and Greys, the world’s most renowned tackle company. For the past three years, I’ve been Fishery and Conservation Director at the Kingfisher Lakes and Apartments, in mid Norfolk.

This is a position particularly close to my heart. I have known the Wensum Valley virtually all my life and adore the river itself and the lakes that lie along its course. I look forward to seeing you on one of our Carp Fishing Holidays in the UK, I really can be of help. Hopefully, we will meet on the bankside for some entertaining and informative session.
